  5.    AudioScope is a real-time audio spectrum analyzer for the Amiga.
  6.    AudioScope uses a 512 point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to process
  7.    audio data received through your audio digitizer to produce a high
  8.    resolution display of audio signal amplitude vs frequency.  AudioScope
  9.    can be used to evaluate the frequency content of sounds of all kinds.

  11.    AudioScope 3.0 is an update to version 2.01 on Aminet.  Now, in addition
  12.    to the real-time display of signal amplitude vs. frequency, a display
  13.    option providing a continuous scrolling color display of audio signal
  14.    amplitude vs. time vs. frequency is available.

  16.    AudioScope 3.0 requires AmigaDOS 2.0 or higher and an accelerated
  17.    Amiga because of the high computational load.  A 68020 or better
  18.    microprocessor is mandatory.  An audio digitizer is also required.
  19.    Perfect Sound 3, Sound Magic, Sound Master, DSS 8, and many generic
  20.    digitizers are supported.

  22.    The new scrolling color display mode is a severe test of both processing
  23.    power and display capabilities.  A 68040 CPU and AGA is recommended for
  24.    truely amazing performance using this mode.
